Charlie Burton, an ambitious 21 year old will be sharing his plans behind his next adventure – entering the Mini Transat, a 4000 mile single handed yacht race across the Atlantic in a boat only 6.5 metres long.

Price:

A donation from ticket price of £12.50 + VAT per person will go to our chosen charity for 2018, Shekinah.

Parking Notice

The hotel only have enough spaces for residents. There is some free on road parking near the hotel (try Alanhayes Road and Devon Road). There is also a park and ride just off Bonfire Hill, opposite the garage as you drive into Salcombe. If you have any trouble parking please call the hotel and they will try and assist you. We would recommend you allow plenty of time to park.

Overnight Stay Offer

Stay overnight after our event for only £340. This is based on two sharing an inland room and includes a £25 dinner allowance per person in the Jetty restaurant and a Continental and/or full English breakfast. To book, email Milly Scott.

How to network effectively at an event - John Harvey, The Samphire Club

Attending an event is a significant investment of both time and money. In this workshop you will learn how to maximise the benefits of attending by adopting a strategy and following an easy to use approach. Split into 3 parts, the workshop will cover preparation and research, the event itself and follow up. You will learn how to attend an event with confidence and maximise your chance of success.

 

How to get more customers to visit your website - Ben Stirling, Made with Maturity

Come and learn how to make your website work for your business. Having an attractive and effective website as part of your digital marketing is key, but there’s no point in having a website if no one sees it! Ben will be sharing advice, tips and tools on how to:

- develop that ever important digital strategy
- find and drive the right traffic to your site
- develop a content strategy
- keep visitors engaged once on your website

 

The workshop includes tea and coffee on arrival, during the morning and will be concluded with a cream tea.
